Tomorrow tickets go on sale for our 7th annual ProBlogger Training Event on the Gold Coast here in Australia, and if you’re quick you’ll save $200 AUD on the full price with our early bird ticket.

7 Years of ProBlogger Events

I started PBEVENT impulsively in 2010 as a simple one-day, one-room, 5 speaker event for 100 bloggers. Each year it’s grown by 100-150 attendees and we’ve been able to grow what we offer at the event.

Last year we had over 750 attendees and speakers and many told us in our post-event survey that it was our best one yet.

Our Biggest Event Yet

This year our event is 9-10 September on the Gold Coast, and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before with the addition of a special workshop stream and some extra Thursday and Sunday Masterclasses for those who want to dig deeper into some specialised topics.

We’ve also done a lot of work this year on surveying previous attendees to find out exactly what topics they want to learn about and have constructed a schedule that is purely built upon what we heard you say.

You’ll see we’re covering a lot of ground including podcasting, email, social media, writing great content, livestreaming and a variety of monetisation strategies.

We’ve also worked really hard on finding some great speakers for you. This year we’re bringing in 4 great new international speakers but have also found some amazing Aussie bloggers to share what they know too (including some brand new voices as well as a few familiar faces).

You’ll see more of me and the team too as we cover our areas of speciality. In addition to a keynote I’ll be delivering the Finding Readers and Monetisation Basics sessions in our Fundamentals track. Managing Editor Stacey Roberts will cover off everything you need to know about Creating Content, and General Manager Laney Galligan will set you up with strategies to get sponsored.

New Ticket Options

This year we’re introducing a few changes with our ticketing to help bloggers get the exact tailored mix of training and networking out of our event.

Tomorrow you will be able to purchase the an early bird blogger ticket for $399 AUD (that’s about $308 USD for our international guests) which will get you access to:

Attendance to Niche Networking Event on Thursday evening (cash bar & refreshments available to purchase)
24 track sessions
6 keynote sessions
Your choice of up to 2 of 34 workshop sessions, depending on availability, minimum 1 session guaranteed
Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea and Lunch on Friday and Saturday
Recordings Pass for audio recording and presentation slide access to all sessions, workshops and keynotes

On top of this ticket you can choose to add:

Friday Night Networking Party ($50)
Thursday and Sunday Masterclasses ($99-$199)

Early Bird Tickets On Sale Tomorrow Only

We’ve got more detail on all the ticketing options here over on the events site but the most important thing to know is that the early bird tickets are only available for 11.5 hours tomorrow.

They go on sale at these times:

Most of our tickets tend to sell in the first 30 minutes after tickets go on sale and in previous years we have sold out within hours (however like last year we have a bigger capacity so hope we can accommodate everyone).

At midnight Australian Eastern time tickets will got up to $499 AUD and then from 1 July they’ll rise to the full price of $599.

A Note to our International Readers

If you’re not an Aussie blogger you’re more than welcome to attend. Every year we’ve held this event we’ve had speakers and attendees fly into Australia for this conference – many staying on for a vacation.

Previous international attendees have come from the US, UK, Middle East, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and of course last year we had quite a contingent come across from New Zealand.

Those considering coming in from the US please note that the USD to AUD exchange rate at the moment is great for you to visit us, and there have been some amazing air fares as the result of a price war between carriers of late – you might find this the perfect year to make the trip!

Virtual Tickets

This year we are bringing back the PBEVENT Virtual Ticket.

The Virtual Ticket will give you access to audio recordings and slide presentations of all keynotes and breakout sessions.
